Tile Modules
Tiles Modules (or bento box grids) feature soft rounded boxes that have replaced many hard-edged rectangles, giving sites a soft yet futurist look. These friendly boxes are often stacked on top of each in a tiled pattern, allowing for organized stacking of information and seamless responsive design. These tiles can be seen in grid patterns, full pages, and in a mix of sizes that fit together like puzzle pieces.
One of the most notable uses of the tile modules is in the apple design ecosystem – featuring prominently on their website and iPhone iOS. The trend has spread far over the past few years, making its way into all corners of design, showing up not just on websites, but in branding, videos, and anywhere else little rounded boxes can fit.
