Big Type
Sometimes bigger is better. Especially when showing off snappy copy in the form of beautiful type. Long a staple in graphic design, large and imposing type can be found all across the web, serving as a visual treat when scrolling through sites.
Large type can be found in navigation, footers, headers, and anywhere a message needs to be read quickly and clearly. This technique can also be used for background elements, allowing display typeface to act as another decorative element on the page. Images and illustrations are often woven in between big type, reinforcing the message of the copy and bringing more attention to the type.
