New Website Launch: People Serving People + Tegan Digital
People Serving People, Minnesota’s largest and most comprehensive emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness, has launched a newly redesigned website built with Tegan Digital. The new experience serves as a digital doorway to care and gives families, donors, volunteers, and partners a clearer way to connect with the organization’s mission.
The goal was to create a platform shaped by purpose. The site now offers intuitive navigation, accessible content, and a trauma-informed design approach that supports families as they look for resources or emergency shelter. It is digital design centered on dignity and clarity.
The new website was built to serve the organization’s four key audiences in meaningful ways.
- Families: Clear guidance for accessing shelter and programs
- Volunteers: An easier path to learn and get involved
- Donors: Stronger routes to contribute financially or through in-kind gifts
- Media and partners: Quick access to press information and organizational context
For Tegan, this project was an opportunity to remove barriers, improve the user journey, and create a site that reflects the heart of People Serving People’s work. The result is a platform built for real-world impact and a stronger connection to the community it serves.
Creating this site was a chance for our team to put thoughtful design to work in a way that truly matters. It is the kind of project that reminds us why we do what we do.
