The Legacy Senior Communities
The Legacy Senior Communities has been providing quality care to seniors in DFW for more than 50 years. When such a well respected institution agrees to partner with you, you don’t ask questions. So we didn’t.
A year to remember (and forget).
It’s no secret the year was a wild one on planet Earth. Where do we even begin? But even through the crazy and the chaos, our small but mighty Tegan team marched on. With new team members, new clients, new haircuts and new coffee addictions, we took on 2020 with a little bit of luck and a whole lot of Taylor Swift. Dare we say it, this might’ve been our favorite year yet. Yeah. We said it.
We made quite a few new friends this year, and we’d love to tell you about them. Just remember, these are our friends. You can’t have ‘em.

The Dallas-based non-profit is dedicated to throwing birthday parties for kids experiencing homelessness. Point us in the direction of the piñata, because we’re sold.
Chartwell Partners is an executive search firm that works with corporate leaders across the nation. We’ve become fast friends with their team, and we are honored to work alongside them.
Massoud Furniture is a family owned company with over 50 years of experience making custom, luxury furniture. Edit your Christmas lists. You’re going to want a new living room.
Ed Rankin has dedicated over 30 years to helping high level executives clarify their purpose and perform at their potential. He’s basically a Jedi master.
Ryan and Carley jumped on the Tegan train the same fateful day in February. And just in the last couple of months, we added Jacey and Kelsey to the crew. If you count the dogs and kids between them, we’ve more than doubled in size as a team. Which means we’ve doubled in cool.
Ryan is our UI/brand designer—basically, he makes us look really, really cool. Ryan’s a man of few words and a few million talents. He enjoys Mad Men, Whiskey Wednesday and a casual game of Tennis. Ryan’s also the only guy we know that made quarantine hair look good. And we hate him for it.
Carley handles our brand communications. She sends the gifs, helps with the newsletter and cues up the Happy Birthday song when necessary. Carley stays home with her three kids and definitely has a favorite. And as for favorite television shows? ER. Don’t ask.
Jacey is our newest Account Executive. She’s quickly jumped in on several different projects and has promised to make our Instagram more hip. Jacey wins the award for owning the cutest puppy ever, Bernie George.
Kelsey jumped on board as an Account Director, bringing experience from New York to Memphis...to everywhere in between. Kelsey is an avid runner, loyal to cheese fries and has rewatched Gilmore Girls more than the average person.
We’ve all got our usuals and our go-tos. And no, I’m not talking about Chipotle orders. These are the apps and the tunes that we reached for most in 2020.
If Slack is instant messaging for grown-ups, Spark is email for type A grown-ups. We use them both around the work day clock and when they shut down, please check on us. We are not okay.
If 40% of your text isn’t made up of emojis, you’re doing it wrong. If you’re still typing out “Aaron,” you’re doing that wrong, too.
We haven’t found the right project for this beauty. But we will. Ryan demands it.
We will forever be indebted to T-Swift for her double, surprise gift releases of Folklore and Evermore. Less of a one-two punch, more of a one-two kiss. Don’t make it weird.
With masks and isolation defining most of the year, the chosen score had to be accurately somber. A mix of blues, slow acoustics, and the emo ballads you love to hate.
Laura and Aaron’s showdown back in May was unforgettable. Laura still claims Aaron only won because everyone was afraid of losing their jobs if they didn’t support the bossman. She’s totally right.
Yeah, we might have won a few awards. Just kidding. We won a lot.
Quarantine and WFH life made this an interesting year.
(Some of them were about work.)
(We’re a little wired.)
(A lot of tigers. A lot of chess.)
(Oh, that’s just Aaron)
(FYI, you’re on mute.)
(Some of us are better than others.)
Don’t close the yearbook. Just make it better.
We love our jobs and love our clients. We expect 2021 to be the best year yet. If you’re looking for a strategic design partner, let's chat!
